Ofqual’s current advice is that “students should continue to prepare for the summer exams as usual and schools and colleges should ensure their contingency plans are up to date”.
TLM is well placed with its online, on-demand exam system to be able to deal with the present unfolding situation. We will continue to be able to provide you with exams at a time to suit your changing needs.
As the number of cases of coronavirus increase, more of our staff may become affected. Taking a robust approach to risk management and operational effectiveness is critical to TLM as an Awarding Organisation.
We would also like to reassure you of our business continuity planning which will enable us to continue to provide a high level of service even as our staff increasingly have to work remotely.
We have, as a technologically advanced Awarding Organisation, embraced and invested in technology over the years to give our centres a very advanced moderation and exam system. We also have a cloud-based telephone system which enables staff to answer calls from wherever they are working.
We will be able to carry out video conferencing meetings when centre site visits are not possible.
Our office hours will remain the same as usual.
