COVID-19 Update.
In these uncertain times, we want to reassure you that the Awarding Organisation TLM is here to assist you.
Ofqual is today meeting with representatives of the Awarding Organisations to decide how we will manage grade assessment if there are to be no end of course, final exams this Summer. This is following the government’s announcement yesterday that all schools are to close from tomorrow, Friday 20th March.
This is a constantly evolving situation and we will keep you informed as soon as we have further information.
Operational Resilience
TLM, as a technologically advanced Awarding Organisation, embraced and invested in technology over the years to give our centres a very advanced moderation and exam system. We also have a cloud-based telephone system which enables staff to answer calls from wherever they are working.
TLM would also like to reassure you of our business continuity planning, which will enable us to continue to provide a high level of service even as our staff increasingly have to work remotely.
We will be able to carry out video conferencing meetings when centre site visits are not possible.
