TLM Moderation Workshop Dates for 2020

TLM is pleased to announce to our centres the opportunity to carry out a moderation and support workshops, these are to increase the confidence and knowledge of:

  • Compliance, Duty of Care, Centre Obligations, Centre Policies
  • Coursework requirements
  • Schemes of learning – organising coursework and exam components
  • Deadlines
  • Moderation process
  1. Ways of submitting work
  2. What moderation on demand really means
  • Standards exemplification
  1. What is expected from describing?
  2. Which criteria need evidence?
  • Accessing TLM resources
  1. Moodle / Mahara as our “open source – share and share alike” platforms

The workshop agenda:

  • 10:30 – 11:00. Meet and greet
  • 11:00 – 12:30.
  1. Compliance, Duty of Care, Centre Obligations, Centre Policies
  2. Conflict of interest and Malpractice and Maladministration, how to identify, record and manage
  3. Qualifications offered by TLM
  4. L1 and L2 standards
  5. Moderation process (Deadlines, moderation on demand, standardization)
  6. TLM systems (Markbook and exam systems)
  7. TLM resources (Moodle/Mahara).
  • 12:30 – 13:00. Lunch break

Currently, these sessions are being conducted online.

All TLM Centres are required to attain a workshop per year.
