Learners must demonstrate competence against the assessment criteria from their communication and involvement with the training materials and the trainer assessor must verify that they are competent in relation to the general level descriptor using indicative assessment criteria. TLM's external moderator will check the judgements and the quality of the evidence and provide feedback. This process is not graded, the intention is that it is a flexible way of checking basic practical competence in the subject at the qualification’s framework level.

Result Enquiries

  • TLM does not deal directly with members of the public. You must make all enquiries about registration, results, or certificates through your training provider.
  • This qualification is assessed on a Pass/Fail basis.
  • TLM does not release or disclose numerical exam scores. The training provider will be informed only of the overall outcome (Pass or Fail).

CSCS Green Card Applications

  • The Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) Green Card is not issued by TLM and is separate from your qualification result.
  • Achieving the Level 1 Award in Health and Safety in a Construction Environment is one of the requirements for applying for a CSCS Labourer Card.
  • To apply for the card, learners must also pass the CITB Health, Safety and Environment (HS&E) Test and then apply directly through CSCS.
