TLM is pleased to announce to our centres the opportunity to carry out a moderation and support workshops, these are to increase the confidence and knowledge of:

  • Schemes of learning – organising coursework and exam components
  • Deadlines
  • Moderation process
    • Ways of submitting work
    • What moderation on demand really means
• Standards exemplification

    • Which criteria need evidence?
• Accessing TLM resources
  • Moodle / Mahara as our “open source – share and share alike” platforms

The workshop agenda:

• 10:30 – 11:00. Meet and greet, and coffee.
• 11:00 – 12:30.

  • L1 and L2 standards
  • Moderation process (Deadlines, moderation on demand, standardization)
  • TLM systems (markbook and exam systems)
  • TLM resources (Moodle/Mahara).
• 12:30 – 13:00. Lunch break provided by TLM.
